KDL Trailers is a family-operated business based in rural Wanganui, founded with hands-on know-how, a love for practical design, and a bit of good old Taranaki agricultural and engineering grit. It all began when Kyle, working out of his boss’s workshop, decided to build a tiny house trailer for himself. But after thoroughly enjoying the build, he sold that first trailer—and never looked back.
What started as a one-off project quickly grew into a passion. Kyle found he had a knack for custom trailer builds, especially the big, awkward ones most shops couldn’t handle. Today, KDL Trailers is known for quality craftsmanship, creative solutions, and reliable service.
